The Water Crisis
The world is facing a growing crisis of water scarcity, contamination and loss of aquatic biodiversity. Few rivers and lakes remain untouched by dams or pollution. As groundwater suffers massive overpumping, it is increasingly clear that human demands on freshwater are unsustainable.
